a story written in bold letters
It all started in 1996 with murals and graffiti – lines on walls, freedom on concrete, drawings stretched across massive surfaces. Those years taught me how to transfer an idea from paper to a large wall, how to think in dimensions that demand physical presence, focus, and feeling. That was my first education – the one from the streets.
The second came through formal education: the School of Applied Arts, followed by the Design Program at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb. There, I learned the rules – and how to bend them. Over 20 years in graphic design shaped my visual language, taught me how to listen to context, and helped me understand the power of typography.
Between those two worlds – street art and design – Typotecture was born. It’s more than just design. It’s a fusion of architecture, typography, and emotion. Every letter on a façade is a statement. Every word in space becomes an experience. Typotecture is visual presence you can’t ignore – visible from the street, sometimes even from the sky.
