My journey began with murals – over twenty story-driven works painted on public buildings across Zagreb between 1996 and 2002. I signed them all with the name Student. These were part of the first city-funded mural project in Croatia, bringing art into everyday urban spaces. With little money but endless drive, I carried scaffolding, scaled walls, and poured my ideas into public view. That’s where I learned how to turn space into a story – one letter, one wall at a time.
